Family Life Education (FLE) is the core concept that focuses on the health status of any relationship including newlyweds and family relations. It is in the best interest for the clients to better their lives through various techniques such as workshops, videos, and via the internet to strengthen and enrich one's life. The fundamental concepts are collaboration, prevention, and education. Each concept is incorporated equally to help develop and strengthen the life of the individual, couple, and family. As Family Life Educators, we are here to better your life to help strengthen your long lasting relationships and help develop your potential for the future.
The National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) provides certification to those who meet certain academic and experience requirements. This includes having a minimum of a bachelor's degree and completing 3,200 hours working as a FLE prior to becoming fully certified. A provisional certificate is given to those who have completely the educational training but have not yet completed the hours.
